Installation of TIH 2010 fails on Windows 7

Thread needs solution

I downloaded TIH 2010 trial and attempted installation on Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-bit. Installation first complains that Windows Explorer is running and should be stopped! After pressing Continue, installation starts and then reverses itself, saying "The installation was interrupted before TIH could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again." Restarting the installer results in exactly the same failed installation.

Anyone have any ideas how to get TIH 2010 installed?

Turns out the problem was a bad Services entry from a previous install and uninstall of TIH 10.  Apparently the uninstall process did not clean up the registry completely.  When I did that manually, TIH 2010 installed ok.

I might look stupid, but how the you clean your registry ? Did you just delete the entries under Software\Acronis ?

Tool much error with ATI 2010. too sad
The error the same with me, I find alot of article but never have good advice.

Look in registry and try deleting this entry 3A83DE76 as per this post

You might also have a corrupted installer, if the above doesn't work, try redownloading TI2010

Thanks for answer the query.
I dont think that program could be sell to commercial with alot of errors.
You think one people dont have much knowledge can take analyze log file and resolve by themselves?

Still error, I tried to delete some key registry (backup all before)

Sorry I thought Nguyen was your first name, but then I also know people who have Nguyen as their last name as well :).

I've just realised, you might wish to delete the log file and re-upload it, see my PM to you.

What other Acronis products are or were installed on your system?

Did you delete all 3 keys as specified in that post I referred you to?

Is this computer your own or one from work or school that might have policy restrictions on it?

Last time I installed Acronis Disk Directory build 2160 on Windows 7 Professional (32bit). After that I recognize that the program not compatible with OS but still using as normal.

Follow the introduction above, I could not find the key like that.
Property(C): RegistryKeyToDelete4_ForAllUsers = HKLM\Software\Acronis\TrueImageHome
Property(C): RegistryKeyToDelete0_ForAllUsers = HKCU\Software\Acronis\TrueImageHome
Property(C): RegistryKeyToDelete1_ForAllUsers = HKCU\Software\Acronis\MediaBuilder
Property(C): RegistryKeyToDelete2_IfNoSubKeys_ForAllUsers = HKCU\Software\Acronis
Property(C): RegistryKeyToDelete3_IfNoSubKeys = HKLM\Software\Acronis
-> I delete these key

Some folders link %temp%, temp or C:\program files\Acronis, C:\Users\Hoang\AppData\Roaming\Acronis, C:\Users\Hoang\AppData\Local\Acronis
All was deleted
