TI2015 2 issues 1) backup complete on a drive that does not exist; 2) Nonstop stopped - no clue why?

Thread needs solution

1st issue. I have a backup (that is NOT scheduled) that I run manually on a portable hard drive. That drive is NOT connected to the PC, yet the log shows that the backup was successful at 10:34 this morning? How can that be?
2nd issue. Nonstop backup is to run on drive "V" which IS connected, has plenty of free space. The status shows stopped. When you start it, it spends some time "calculating time" and bails out. The log (from my limited ability to interpret it) appears that the NSB was successful. The time stamps on the data file in the backup folder would not indicate that. When I try to restart the NSB, the application freezes up and I have to kill it. It will not restart unless I reboot. I just reloaded everything about a month ago - hope that's not the answer.... Windows 7 OS

I have updated to the latest build and scheduler.

Correction on issue 1 - some low life printer on the network used my drive assignment. My bad.

New glasses. I was right the first time - there is no Drive "U" on the system....
