I noticed a new upgrade for TIH2016 today.  The new version is 6027.

Question:  Should we create a new recovery media and UR media each time there is a TIH2016 version upgrade ?

I tested the update today by creating a new OS partition image.  It took 12 minutes to create a 80GB image of my Win10 OS partition.  The image was created on a standard sata 1TB 7200 seagate HDD.

Later today, I will test the restore function to a similar empty HD but before doing that, I wondered if we should create a new recovery media.

Steve,

You never know for sure what changes are made, my recommendation would be

yes, create a new TI recovery CD every time there is a build or version change.

Grover,

Thanks for your reply.

I followed your advice and created a new recovery media with UR included.

Also, I did complete a test restore of my Win10 OS partition and a Data Partition to a blank HD using the new recovery media.

The restore of both partitions were accomplished quickly and without error.

That was a good test.  Now, if disaster stikes, I know I have a good recovery plan.

Have a great day !
