Can not find version 1 - whats the fix?

Thread needs solution

From the main menu I get that error msg, with additional comment that my file may have been moved or deleted. BUT the back up file is exactly where its supposed to be- so it was not moved or deleted...

When I click on the "knowledge base" I get a "There is no information about this error available now."

The issue seems to be that the folder the progam is connected to, is an old folder and NOT the current back up folder.  I dont see how to update that/this...

Help!

Can you post some screen shots?  You say the folder is where it's supposed to be but then then you say it's in old folder and not the current backup folder so I am confused.

Worse case, remove the backup task (delete "settings only") to remove the task.  Then add the backup .tib and setup a new task to continue on with that backup.

3 screen shots :

1. error msg.

2. error - with old folder location.

3. ssd - where curent location is.

Deleted the old (kept settings) - I was using back up of disk & partions.  I do not see any help (online guide) on IF instead I chose "Entire PC"  what is the difference?

Oh and now I dont get the error msg - thanks!

But can you guide me on backing up Entire PC vs the disk & partions option?

Entire PC will technically backup any drive on the PC - to include attached flash drives, external hard drives, etc - in theory, it might even try to backup your backup drive if attached by USB so this could be probelmatic.  As a result, I typically don't use that one.  Instead, I choose "disks and partitions".  I then select just the disk I want to backup (in your case, the EVO 840 - select the top box and make sure all paritions are selected as well).  It's essentially the same as "entire pc" but will never add new drives (which I prefer as I don't want plugged in flash drives to be part of my main OS drive backup.
