BACKUP FAILS - "The specified file does not exist"

Thread needs solution

Long time user of ATI (2009-2016)

On ATI 2016 you have been putting out updates over the last few months.

Last two updates did not go well but eventually did install on 2 desktops and 1 laptop.

I run full drive and partition image backups around the first of the month.

Today none of the three will run my manual full backup!!!

I get the message:

F:\Backups\IGOR\Full Disk Images\IGOR July Full Image_full-b1-s1-v1/tib on PC IGOR and the same on the other two PCs (with other two pc names instead of IGOR)

I can only point to the last update Acronis sent out since backups have been working fine since upgrading to 2016 (Dec. 2015).

Please reply with some guidance soon.

Thank you,

Larry Bancroft

Larry, couple of questions here?

What happens if you click on the Browse option button - can you browse to the 'missing' image file and if so, is it found in the exact path as shown in the message given?

Is drive F: on an external disk drive and has this been given a different drive letter?

I would recommend using the Log File Viewer app to get the full set of messages being written to the task log file(s) for this issue - post copies to the forum if you need help in reading them.
