No internal harddisks found (M.2) SSD
Hello,
I tried to create an Image of a new DELL Mobile Workstation (Precision 7510) with the latest version (6613) of the Acronis Boot Medium.
The problem is, that Acronis cannot find any internal drives of the system.
The Laptop has a M.2 SSD drive.
How can I create an image of the system without installing the Acronis True Image software in Windows?
I tired some Bios options like switching the controller mode from RAID to AHCI, but the error still exist.
Or is the M.2 drive support not supported or only in version 2016?
Thank You.

Version 6559 and newer support this by default now. However, it seems like it is still best to switch from RAID-ON to AHCI in the bios as well. Otherwise, you may still need to use WinPE (built with the latest Win10 ADK and slipstreaming in the Dell WinPE driver pac) instead of the default Linux media. Also, seems like the Dells are shipping with SATA mode as "RAID-ON" for some reason... even with only a single drive. Switching to AHCI SATA mode in the bios is allowing me to use the default linux media with the 7510/5510 and other current models without issue.
