Dell XPS 13 Backup Fail

Thread needs solution

I have a Dell XPS 13 (running Win 7 64-bit) that I'm trying to backup using Acronis True Image.  After naming the back up, navigating to where it's going to be stored, then backing up the files it appears that everything is fine until you mount the backup files to find that nothing was backed up at all.  The archive is completely blank, I've tried booting Acronis in UEFI and Legacy modes with no luck.  Any insight would be appreciated.

How big is the backup .tib file that's created when you navigate to it in Windows Explorer?  What happens if you just try to double click the .tib file as well? How are you mounting the backup file - from Windows file explorer?  If so, what happens if you attempt to recover from the GUI (don't actually do that, but start the process by clicking on "recover files" from your image backup.  Then see if you can navigate files/folders in the backup but don't actually restore if you see them.
