Activation and reinstallation

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I've purchased a license for 3 computers, and installed TI on only two. Unfortunately, one got the "forever stuck at calculating" bug, and I had to do a reinstall to use the software. Does that count as a third activation?

You're good to go.  It shouldn't burn a license.

However, if it does and you are prompted that there are too many activations when you go to load the 3rd license, it will simply ask you to login into your account and disable from a previous system. You'd just pick another computer (it lists them by the computer name the software was registered to - in this case, that could be the same computer name since it's being installed on the same computer).  Then, deactivate it and reactivate it on the new install.

If you ever run into trouble, licensing is always covered by technical support too.
