[solved] How to create a subfolder in local storage?
Good morning everybody.
How can I create a subfolder in a local storage drive on Acronis 12?
I've imported a few backup plans from Acronis 11.7 and these plans
are saving to a subfolder D:\ESXi or D:\RF
This is working very well but if I try to create a new backup plan I
can't create a subfolder like D:\VM oder D:\RFS :(
Acronis tell me that this folder does not exist - and I know that ;)
But how can I create a folder or how can I tell Acronis to use this
folder and create it automatically?
Anybody did this before?
Thanks for your help

Thx for your reply but this is not possible...
I've added two storage files directly to the appliance so I can't connect them to a Windows based Server?
...please have a look to my attachment.
I try to shutdown the appliance and configure the VMDK to another server and see what happens. :/
Edit:
As I thought...
I can't access these VMDK if I add them to a windows based system. :(

Hi,
In case of Locally Attached Storage (LAS) connected to Virtual Appliance you can only create subfolders manually from the appliance console:
1) Open the console in vSphere client - see LASsubfolder1.png
2) Switch to command prompt via Ctrl+Shift+F2 (switching back can be done via Alt+F1)
3) Issue 'mount' command to see where your LAS is mounted to - see LASsubfolder2.png
4) Then create a subfolder via 'mkdir' command - also see LASsubfolder2.png
5) Now you will see this subfolder in web console interface - see LASsubfolder3.png
P.S. this storage is formatted in ext2 file system so you can also browse it from any Linux system (but not from Windows one).
Thank you.
