Quick question about Update 3

Thread needs solution

As of today, the program is informing me about ATI 2017 Update 3 Build 8041. The release notes only reflect the Windows 10 Creators Update fix. I don't see any announcement on this forum so I am curious as to whether there are any other fixes in this version or is it just a quick release for those with the Creators Update. Should I just wait for the next release for other fixes? My plan is to defer Creators Update for a while.

The update only offers fixes for Creators Update compatibility issues.

Slava advised that we should see a more thorough update for the Standard version in a couple of weeks with the bug fixes and improvements.  This one, as Enchantech mentioned, was primarily to ensure continued compatibility with the Windows 10 Creator update (if you have upgraded already or plan to do so soon).

For what it's worth, I haven't noticed any issues using NG6116 or STD8029 with the creator's update, other than having to re-pick my source and destinations again since the upgrade created a new recovery parition at the end of my drive and left the old one near the front of the drive (which changed the hard drive UUID in the process).  I cleaned up the old recovery parition with minitool parition wizard free (which also changes the UUID of the hard drive again) and then re-selected my source and destinations and all has been well, so-far.

Please note this behavior was Microsoft induced with the new recovery partition and impacted not just Acronis, but also Macrium, Aomei, Veeam and EaseUS since they all detected that the orginal source drive was no longer "available" after the parition change to the drive.
