The management server is not available for more than 30 days [RESOLVED]

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I'm experiencing backup failures with the reason as stated in the subject.  This is a management console that is running as a VM on Windows Server 2012 R2 (server / console version 12.0.3689) backing up a RHEL Physical server Agent version 12.0.3689.  I recognize this issue existed in THIS THREAD and the fix was to upgrade, however I'm on version 3689 and I'm seeing the issue with the backup of a physical server.

I'd like to get to the bottom of the issue rather than reinstalling / upgrading agents if possible.  The activity details are pasted below.

its look like the agent that running on version 12 is not accessing the AMS - Acronis Managment Server.

Try to reconnect it to the AMS.

Thanks for the comment David.  Yes, obviously the agent is not reaching the AMS.  And to that extent, I rechecked firewall settings on the local servers and in the environment.  It turns out that I was blocking the web access port locally on the server.

I think documentation should be a bit more clear about this, but at least I found the cause.
