Hi,

Currently the credentials for accessed resources cannot be managed from Acronis Backup 12.5 interface, so yes if you reboot the backup server, you'll need to re-enter credentials when accessing backup locations on network shares. We plan to add credentials management in future versions (internal ID: ABR-83914).

Thank you.

OK, thanks for the information

How can I configure the agent for the correct "smb" credentials?

I have attached my error details

Thanks

Hello Alberto,

This seems like a standard access denied message from the Windows FindFirstFileW function while trying to access  \\10.163.33.194\\F10REE1

There could be any number of reasons for the error. For example, the wrong password or username.

Could you clarify what sort of share this is and what credentials you are using?

Hello Igor,

I have a management server and a server to backup (F10REE1)

I added the samba credentials in the server management when configuring the backup for this server.

The managemente server can access to the shared folder and credentials correctly but not the agent when doing the backup.

If I change permissions in the shared folder for public R/W the backup runs without errors..

Should I configure something special in the server or the agent installed?

Thankyou

It's strange that the agent cannot access the share using the exact same credentials that work on the AMS.

In my experience, this usually means that there is a problem specific to the agent. Something like the Network provider order, for example.

The next step I would take is to try and access this network share directly from F10REE1 and see if Windows can access the share
