Is the backup successful in Acronis True Image Home?

Thread needs solution

In the calendar, the back-up computer task is recorded as "failed" i.e. red square.

In the "unscheduled tasks" tab Acronis confirms operation (i.e. back-up computer?) "Competed Succesfully"

In the log there are entries such as "Failed to read data from the disK. Failed to read from the sector 65 of the hard disk 2: retry/ignore/ignore all/cancel.

Final entry in the log is: "Operation has succeeded".

Please tell me whether Acronis has successfully created a backup (as per the unscheduled task list and log) or failed as per the calendar log.

Are you saying all of the above was from one log entry?

The calendar covers every backup that was attempted in the 24 hour period. You may have some tasks which failed and some that succeeded. If you have validation being run automatically as part of the backup creation, that is some assurance.

Perhaps we could tell you more if posted the contents of the single log fie in question.
