Backup "operation failed"
Hi Guys,
I'm testing driving Acronis True Image Home 2010 before buying.
Trying to perform my first back up... simply I keep getting an immediate error saying "operation failed"... this is via 'one click backup'...
Output of the log file enclosed below...

Unfortunately, the log file is incomplete, and it doesn't allow to diagnose the issue. Could you please describe the issue with the details? When exactly do you receive the error message? How exactly does the program terminate the operation? What is the destination for the backup?

IO have had difficulty performing backups with Acronis True Image 2010. It proceeds through the entire backup but then says "operation failed". I have reinstalled the Acronis software and still get the same message. I have run successful backups before with this software. Nothing has changed materially with my operating system (Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit). Below is the log file generated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My email address is

Most likely this issue is caused either by errors or bad blocks on your hard drive. Before we proceed in resolving this issue, can you please collect this report and send it to me via a private message?
