i have acronis true image home 2010 //cant find 'verify'

i have read that after running a backup, i need to verify to make sure my tib is ok.

after running an 8 hr backup, IT DID END WITH A MESSAGE THAT COMPLETED NORMALLY (or something to that effect), i wanted to verify, but i simply cannot find an option anywhere that will do a 'verify'

so at this point, i think maybe in this version 'verify' is included in the backup??
so that after the 8 hrs, it automatically does a verify at the end?? and if it says
it completed ok, it means it really is ok, and not just ok, but actually verified??

but i am probably wrong in assuming this
Does anyone know where verify is??

after having done more research, i have concluded the following:
'verify' is not on any menu. It's not like you can simply verify a tib file by pointing to it and
then commanding it to 'do a 'verify'-
So you dont really know if your tib is verifiably-good

NOT UNTIL you are actually going to use it to restore something.
As part of the restoration process, one of the things that will be asked -or assumed if not asked-
is if you want to do a 'verify' before continuing with the rest of the backup -(why continue if its not going to work)

i'm pretty sure this is the case.
