I have done some reading regarding imaging with Acronis and Bitlocker...

It appears we have two choices.... You can keep Bitlocker enabled and do a sector by sector backup from the rescue media which will make the backup as large as the partition itself - or you can disable Bitlocker and decrypt the partion before you backup either from windows or the rescue media. Both scenarios sound like they take considerably more time, and the first option would need a lot of space.

Looking for advice here... is anybody using Bitlocker with Acronis and what are you doing to get this done in the most efficient way???

Just so you know I am using TI 2010 as TI 2011 was unable to boot Alienware 17xR2. So my options right now are limited to TI 2010.

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated!!
