Backup to cloud fails with 'Failed to get the account information from database'.
I performed a cloud backup of some folders yesterday evening (June 18th) specifying the UK Server as
per usual, and this failed with the following reason:
The last backup has failed.
Failed to get the account information from database.
Check if the account is registered and set up correctly.
I performed the backup again this time specifying the France Server, and this time it worked ok.
I have tried to backup to the UK Server again this morning at about 11:50, and the backup still failed
with the same reason.
Does anyone know if there is currently an issue with the UK Server ?

Thank you for your reply.
I have just performed a cloud backup to the UK Server, and it worked ok.
I understand that once the Server Location has been chosen for a backup, it cannot be changed,
and the sequence of events was as follows :
1) I performed a cloud backup to the UK Server in the evening of June 18th and this failed, and after automatically retrying a few times it set the status circle to red, and output the failure message as above.
2) I then deleted the backup (and it was removed from the list ok), and I then created the backup again with the same name and details as before, the only difference being the server being set to France instead of UK - this then worked ok.
3) However, when I clicked on the Activity Tab for this backup, the latest entries said that the backup had been configured and worked ok (as expected), but there was an entry prior to this for the time when the backup originally failed when specifying the UK Server, as though after I deleted the original failed backup (and it was removed from the list), ATI 2018 still retained information about the original failed backup, even after I had deleted it.
After I deleted the original failed backup to the UK Server, should I have used a different name when trying again to the France Server, or is there a bug in ATI 2018 when it comes to deleting a cloud backup and then performing a new backup using the same name ?

Update: Even though Cloud Backup to the UK Server now seems to be working ok, I will open a Support Case with Acronis to inform them of the above situation(s).

Update: I opened a support case with Acronis Support, and they have confirmed that my account has not been corrupted in any way. They also said that the original failure to perform a Cloud Backup to the UK Server was due to the UK Server being inaccessible for some reason (rather than my account details being incorrect or corrupt).
I have run a test in which I have performed a successful Cloud Backup to the UK Server, deleted this backup, and then performed a successful Cloud Backup with the same name to the France Server.
I then clicked on the Activity Tab for this backup, and it said that the backup had been configured and completed successfully, without any details of the previous successful backup of the same name to the UK Server (as expected).
When the original problem occurred, and I deleted the failed backup to the UK Server and performed a successful backup of the same name to the France Server, even though the backup had been removed from the list within ATI 2018 on my PC, maybe Acronis was slower than usual in removing the backup from the list within my account on the Acronis Server, and this would explain why there was information pertaining to the original failed backup when I clicked on the Activity Tab within ATI 2018 on my PC.
For future reference, if a Cloud Backup fails for any reason and I decide to delete the backup and try it again with the same name, before doing so I will look at the list of cloud backups within my Acronis Account online, to check that the backup has been removed from that list ok.

Leslie, thanks for the update and feedback from your support case, glad that all looks to going OK now. It is always recommended to use the nearest geographic Cloud server where possible but I understand the reason for testing with the France server when the UK one was playing up!
