Backup Failure

Thread needs solution

Regardless of whether I try an incremental backup, or a new backup, soon after I start the backup I receive a "Specified file does not exist." message, and the backup terminates.
I have a backup (appr 20GB) of data files made on 4 Sep 2010.

I run Acronis 2010 on Vista Ultimate, on a Dell Optiplex 755 (2.33GHz core duo, 4 Gb RAM, 1 TB HDD split into several partitions).
Backups are on a 250GB external SATA drive, in G: partition of 100GB.

I am attaching the log file for a full backup attempt.

Can anyone tell me how to create a backup of selected files from D:, placed in G:, either full backup or incremental?

I have now tried to uninstall Acronis TI 2010, & get an error message "The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel".
I have seen forums like the techsupportforum post on error 1610 relating to Nero install (www.techsupportforum.com/microsoft-support/windows-xp-support/116048-er…) but this relates to problems installing, not removing.

How do I get it to work? Uninstall & reinstall or some other way?
