Help. Acronis is not on system and secure zone is still there

Thread needs solution

Hello. I had a system with TI 10 in it and replaced it with a windows 7 system. The secure zone was on a usb drive of 500gb with 250 avail and 250 sz

I neglected to delete the SZ before getting rid of my old computer. now in windows disk management, I see that the SZ is part of volume F. (primary inactive) the other part of the drive is volume
F (primary active).

Can I get rid if this?

I do not have an issue with loosing the data, but I want the entire drive to be a volume F of 500 gb when I am done.

Thank you

just wanted to say that I have not installed TI on the new PC. I am waiting for suggestions. If I install it, should I be able to manage the old SZ from version 10

Thanks again

can someone give me an answer? I'm considering going to Paragon if I cant get support. The problem with Acronis in my opinion is you buy this stuff, you dont ask a support question for over a year, then they take it off support and then don't answer the questions in the forums. Yet they expect people to upgrade.

Have you tried booting from the verson 10 Rescue CD to see what options are available regarding eliminating the Secure Zone?

hey Grover. Thank you for the reply. Earlier today I deleted the SZ with partition manager. I was not however able to extend the partition on the drive into the unallocated space. I was able to create a logical partition though, so I can use the space, just not contiguous.

Thank you for the suggestion but I think I am done with True image. I have not been happy with the support overall. IMHO It takes them so long to respond to things. I think I may try paragon as a comparison and see how it works out

Take care

If you are interested, maybe I can help you get the space assigned to where you want. If interested, post a picture of your windows Disk Management graphical view of the usb disk. Any response by me will have to be tomorrow or other can respond.
