Acronis Boot CD does not Detect my Harddrive

Thread needs solution

Hello

I have acronis 2011 build 6574 installed on my PC. Everything works fine.
But the boot CD does not found my hard disk controller, and thus the connected drives.
It is the Asus P5WDG2 WS Professional Mainboard and the onboard Marvell controller (88SE6145 SATA)

How is it possible to integrate this controller in the boot CD?

many Thanks

The first thing to try is to visit your registration page and download the "bootable media" option. This download is an alternate
Rescue CD with diferent drivers. Download and burn as an image onto the CD.

If that is not successful, then contact support for a special CD which may have support for your hardware.

Is this CD is really different from the boot CD created by Acronis?
I have created the boot CD with the Acronis Assistend

Thanks for your response

As I stated in my earlier posting, it is different.

And if that CD does not work, there is another option: Create a WinPE bootable CD iso with the Acronis WinPE plug in. It requires you to have the Acronis WinPE iso creator (part of the ATIH Plus Pack), but given that so many people are having issues with boot CDs not recognizing hardware, crashing, etc.... you might be able to "sweet talk" them into giving you the plus pack as a means of resolving your issues.
