Can't Create Bootable Media - "please reinstall Acronis True Image"
I'm using the Acronis True Image WD Edition and trying:
Create Bootable Media using Acronis Media Builder
I get the error message:
cannot load required components
please reinstall Acronis True Image
0x40011 Tag = 0x89F41C0C69EEAB
Event code: 0x00040011+0x00040011
I reinstalled several times and still bet the message.
Has anyone had any success creating a "Bootable Madia"?

Hello Peter!
Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here! I understand your concern and will do my best to assist you.
Unfortunately due to the lack of diagnostic information it's impossible to dientify the exact cause of the issue, but we're sure there's a workaround for it: you need to obtain the bootable media in ISO format, that can be burnt onto the CD. Unfortunately since you're using an OEM edition we cannot assist you with it (OEM editions are modified for the vendors and supported by the vendors like Western Digital). You need to contact Western Digital directly for the link to it and technical assistance with the issue.
Thank you for understanding and cooperation.
Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!
Thank you!

Acronis sold WD a garbage software and they expect WD to fix it. Acronis is famous for unacceptable quality. Sorry you have to work for them.

Hey Peter.
I have come across the same issue as you when trying to create a bootable recovery disk. Having purchased the full retail version of Acronis True Home 2010, however, I am enjoying full support from their tech team, as per below:

First thing I would do is update to sp3 as sp2 is no longer supported.

I am running XP SP3, with all updates available.

Hello all,
Thank you for posting and your kind help.
Andre, I will definitely assist you with resolving this issue.
If I understood it correctly, the first problem is that you cannot create the bootable media because of the error - cannot load required components, please reinstall Acronis True Image. It usually occurs because Acronis program components fail to update properly. In such situations we ask to repair the installation, but you went further and actually re-installed the latest build a couple of times. If this fails to help, we need to run a little utility called process monitor and try creating the media. It captures all the processes and allows us to see in depth where the failure occurs.
For your second issue, when you were sold the program you were told that it has the ability to repair degrading RAID arrays. There is no specific repair button that can repair a RAID array. However, you can boot from the bootable media, if it detects your RAID properly you will see it as a hard disk, create a backup of your disk and then recover it to your new RAID. This is the extent that our software can be used to repair RAID.
I can recommend page 39 from our user guide if you need additional information about creating backups, this KB article for recovery instructions and this article for information how our software supports RAID.
As a temporary workaround, until we get the bootable media creation issue resolved, you can download it from your Acronis web-account. Please check this article for instructions.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

Interestingly, my message posted on 2010-12-18 was edited for a so-called TOU violation as it was regarded as the post of a private conversation. It was an exchange of e-mails betwen myself and an Acronis support representative highlighting my problems with the software I purchased and the difficulties I had getting support for the issues in the first place. I needed to provide a scan of the purchase receipt to prove the software was the full, commercial version and purchased within 30 days of the support request made. In my opinion this doesn't constitute a private conversation and should not have been censored.
BTW: While I now receive support the issues are still without solution and a further problem has arisen.
