Volume Shadow Copy Service Stopped Working
When running a simple backup routine, the Volume Shadow Copy Service stops running resulting in a windows error. When I try to restart the VSC service, I get another error. I must reboot to re-enable Volume Shadow Copy service. Screenshots of the errors are attached in Screenshot.doc.
This is a fresh Windows Server 2008 R2 install w/ all windows updates. No other applications or services have been installed with the exception of Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 (build 10.0.11639) and its dependencies.
Backup Details: Tested backing up local server OS partition to local and network drives (seperately) resulting in the same error. All options are default.
Good thing i'm using this on a trial basis... I would be extremely disapointed if I shelled out $1200 to have errors right off the bat. I would like to get this issue resolved, so any help would be appreciated.
*edit* I would also like to mention that the backup was successful without volume shadow copy service running, which is not very good since files could be open during the backup procedure. ALSO, upon restore, the system tries to reboot, but just hangs on a black screen saying: "rebooting system"... The system never actually reboots. This could be a real pain if you are trying to do things remotely.
