TI 2011 restore problem

Hi can someone please help me
I have been using acronis true image for a while now with only a few problems, but now I have a problem I unable work out.
I am using Acronis 2011 home and I have made several images of my hard drive, and now I am trying to recover one of these images.
I boot from the recovery dvd I made and select the image I want to restore in the following order.
Archive selection
Recovery method
What to recover
At this point I select all the partitions in the image set I am trying to restore as detailed below
NTFS (Win 7) (C:) Pri
MBR and track O
NTFS (System Reserved) Pri,Act
I then I have to choose the Setting of partition 1-1
And then Settings of partition C
Whatever I choose at this point I can get no further.
So my question is what I select at this point
I am using Windows 7 and true image 2011 home edition
I hope someone can help
PS i have dowloaded the user guide but it does not explaine the setting of partition 1-1 not that i can see anyway.

Thank you for the reply. i must say that TIH 2011 is not as easy as TI 2010 to use, why carn't i just select all the partition in the archive and then select to destination drive as before and the click proceed as before. what is all this setting of Partition 1-1 all about
Regards to you

Some observations.
1. During a restore, if you checkmark the disk option, all partitions should become auto checked. Likewise, if you select all partitions, the disk option should then become also checked. If you have selected all partitions, the next screen should be the target selection screen. If you selected all partitons and the next screen is not the target selection screen, this would seem to imply that the backup does not include all partitions and TI is preventing a disk level restore as the disk restore would not match your original disk. Look at your Windows Disk management graphical view to confirm how your partitions are configured. In your selection of partitions, the selection of all includes selecting track 0/mbr. If you omitted the selection of Track 0/mbr, this would also cause you to be forced into configuring your partition 1 of 1 and partition c as you first mentioned.
2. As I mentioned in my first post, the Rescue CD is Linux and it assigns drive letters differently than Windows. Ignore drive letters. Use disk characteristics as you guide.
3. When restoring the main partition, you will be taken to the "Specify recove settings of Partition ? (This may be identified as C and it may not.)
On that screen, you have 3 items which must be completed.
The first is location where you re-select the same location as currently existing.
The second is type and it should be suggesting primary. Most likely Active should not be assigned here as the System Reserved is normally the active assignment.
The third is partition size and it should be suggesting the same size as your old.
Once you complete all 3 items, the Next option should become visible.
The next screen is the summary screen and it shows you what is going to happen but ignore any drive letters differences. It should be showing you that the partition size and volume name match your original disk.
4. In your first posting where you could not complete the restore, I believe this related to item 1 and you were being forced to choose and configure the restore of only two partitions. The partitiion 1-1 was the System Reserve and you had to configure all 3 options. Then the next partition was the C and you again had to configure 3 options. The "next" option will only appear after the required options are user configured.
5. There are big visual differences between the Windows versions of 2011-2010 2009 and older version 10. However, the Rescue CD for version 2011-2010-2009 have only slight differences. Remember, and older version CD cannot restore a newer vesion backup.
6. If you wish to repeat the simulation of the restore of only your main partition, do so again and you may feel more comfortable with what you see.
7. added--Or Repeat the restore again and again checkmark all 3 options (system reserved; main partition; track o/mbr) and see if you are then taken directly to the target disk selection screen. This would be a repeat of your first initial test.

I recovery-error: "not enough space on the recovery destination drive" problem. I have waited until I NEED to do a restore and my Acronis 2011 has failed me. I am another unhappy Customer!!!!
In "What to recover "it shows my capacity is 293.4 GB. It also shows my used capacity is 226.7 GB.
I have tried to make a little adjustment to the size in "Settings of Partition C" but it does not allow me to make a change to the "Free space before" or "Free space after"--both show 0.
I did not remove the contents of my partition C:\ prior to recovery attempt.
I have XP with SP3 and all available updates/KBs.
At this time I cannot get to my Acronis 2011 to see what my build is.
I first attempted to restore the complete disk (3 partitions) but I got the same error. I then just tried to recover my primary, active partition (C:\), unsuccessfully.
The drive that needs to be restored, with the recovery disk, is 500GB.
I do not know how to use the ISO version of the CD that is in my account--in otherwords, I cannot get to my account on the machine--hence the need for restore!
I used F11 at boot.
I cannot access my Acronis account on the machine to try the SAFE mode thing.
My system does not boot, thus I used the F11. I did not purchase from a store. I purchased from the Acronis site.
I recently downloaded the lastest build about a month ago. I checked last week and there was not a newer one. It is on the machine that will not boot.
I ordered the Acronis CD from you when I made my purchase.
I will attempt to boot from it and validate my .TIB file.
This image is on a separate external 1.5 TB Western Digital drive. It is where I place my Acronis Backups.
I also have an Acronis clone of my internal drive on a separate external 320 GB WD drive. Can I do anything with it?
Please tell me how to fix this problem-or-tell me that I need to use another program.

Acronis just sent me a test fix to see if it corrected a similar problem. See http://forum.acronis.com/forum/15860
The fix did work, so I presume that they have a handle on the problem.

I purchased Acronis True Image Home 2011 and the plus pack from Acronis because I thought it was a good investiment.
It has failed me. It was a bad investiment
I have successfully restored my C drive with another program.
I then tried my Acronis again. Updated it again with the latest build. Even created another Boot disk and booted with it. Validated my Acronis file that I was attempting to use, again.
This Acronis TI 2011 keeps failing me.
I do not recommend it for recovering a C drive.
