Acronis Recovery SFTP slowly
1307/5000
Hello, I am testing how acronis works, I am doing a backup at the file / folder level, but the first backup with an SFTP destination through the WAN with a size of 55GB takes 6h, later the incremental backups it takes minutes to make, these incremental copies are around 14GB each in the original destination and in the final destination around 3GB. I see the problem when I want to restore these files, I have checked to recover a folder with software, which weighs around 40GB and the download does not exceed 928KB / s, if I do a speed test on my PC, I get 100Mb / s download and 100Mb / s upload. If I connect via filezilla to the SFTP server and try to download a file, I get a download speed of 10MB / s - 5MB / s, but if I do it through the Acronis Management Server, I get a maximum of 1,500 / KBs if I download it on another computer, but if I restore a 5 GB file it takes 1h. I have not done any other testing of backups with different destinations as what interests me is that the backup is stored in sftp destination.
INFO:
Acronis Management Server, installed separately on Windows 10 with access via WAN.
SFTP: Synology NAS with access through WAN.
NETWORK: 1GB.
EDIT:
8H to restore 40GB.

Hello Maria,
Would acronis still make connections per file if first the backup is done to a local secure zone first then replicated to the SFTP location?

Hi Maria, I have tried to back up the disks / volumes as you have recommended, using filters I have only selected a folder, the destination is the NAS with SFTP through WAN, I have monitored the incoming traffic from the NAS during the backup and it does not exceed 1.3MB / s, then I have carried out a restoration which I have also monitored outgoing traffic and it does not exceed 1.2MB / s ... if I perform a speed test of the agent team, I get 100MB / s download and 100MB / s upload. The network where the NAS is, if I perform a speed test, I get 100MB / s download and 100MB / s upload, from the NAS to the router, it is in Gigabit. I don't understand these low transfer rates.
EDIT:
Could the problem be with my router?
EDIT:
File transfer test via sftp with pscp.exe on the same network maximum transfer 15MB / s
EDIT:
File transfer test via NFS on the same network maximum transfer 99MB / s
EDIT:
All the software that I have tried to transfer files to sftp over WAN exceeds 1MB / s, it even has 15 MB / s, less acronis ... What is happening with acronis and the SFTP connection?

Hello Peter.
Would acronis still make connections per file if first the backup is done to a local secure zone first then replicated to the SFTP location?
Yes for file/folder-level backup. The software will open the archive and start reading files. Then replicate the archive file-by-file.

Hello David.
All the software that I have tried to transfer files to sftp over WAN exceeds 1MB / s, it even has 15 MB / s, less acronis ... What is happening with acronis and the SFTP connection?
Yes, there is a bug (ABR-168179) Acronis sFTP client has synchronous behavior. However, the speed should be about 14-15 Mbps. It should be equal to the speed of copying a file/folder using Windows Explorer.
I recommend that you open a case with Acronis Support Team to investigate this issue.
