[Major Bug] Saving and restoring settings does NOT work properly for backups stored on NAS

Just discovered that if you uninstall and then reinstall the latest build of ATI it does not properly import setting for backups stored on NAS. You end up with multiple backup tasks, so many that it could be impossible to find the one that you want. As far as I am aware I did not have this problem when importing settings with the release version.
Not sure why it only happened with backups made to NAS. Most, if not all, seem to be using the older *.tib format. Backups seem to be working properly but it is hard to say Validating backup from within the app does NOT seem to fix the problem.

Seems counter intuitive - can you add something that is already there? Will try and report back.
I have a dim recollection that I had this problem just after ATI 2020 was released and I was told this was by design - despite, it working properly in earlier versions. Will do some digging and report back.

I think I misunderstood what you were saying.
Are you saying I should have imported the backups on the NAS before retrieving the settings?
The odd thing is that the same process worked without problems with the release version; it only happened when I uninstalled ATI2021 and then reinstalled it.

If you have reinstalled ATI 2021 and re-imported the previously exported settings, the backup task is visible in the backup list, but you have fewer options (e.g. the storage location is missing). If you add the / all backup chains (with full versions, add all again) with "Add existing backup" the options come back.

As I expected, adding the backup task left the separate task for each backup chain for backups using *.tib architecture. The problem does not affect *.tibx backups due the interdependence of all files.
Owing to the separate backups being listed for local (on drive attached to SATA port or USB Port) when Acronis scans the dives when first run, I now immediately import setting which prevents that from happening. This process worked without issue with the release version of ATI 2021 for backups on my NAS but with the current build it does not work.
I suspect that immediately after restoring the settings I will have to add back those backup tasks to stop Acronis listing "phantom" backups.
It is a real pain having to manually delete the phantom backups!
