B&R 10 flushes operaton log during backup

B&R 10 for windows servers installed on win2003 x64 is flushing the operation log before "Pending operation: 'Creating partition image'.". There are never more than about 25 entries in the log. Changing the Maximum log size makes no difference.

I found the cause and a solution. The backup starts before midnight and ends after midnight and the log view was set to view the current day's events only. By change the dates I was able see the complete sequence of events.
