Can't mount image file of mutiple drives

Thread needs solution

Using TI 2011 B1159
I can;t mount an image file. It was made with this version of TI. The image is 281gb and has 6 drives in it. I can browse the drives & files in the archived drives. If I right click on a drive in Win Explorer, there is no Mount option, only open, & explore.
Running win 7 x64, 12gb ram, from 80gb SSD. Images on a 2nd hd.

I'd like to search this image for specific files I want to recover.
Thanks

An alternative would be to use the right click on the backup file and choose the Explore option.

Once you have selected and open the first window, you should be able to use Explorer search option and perform a normal file or folder search.

Thanks for the reply. I've done that, and win7 won;t start a search. I enter a known file name /w & w/o extension and hit enter. The magnifying glass is never there, and the cursor just sits there, blinking, after hitting enter.

KL,

I understand you have only one TIB file with 6 drives in it.

I assume this is a disk and partition backup. If it is a file backup or non-stop backup, you cannot mount it.

Did you try to mount the entire image? Right click on the TIB file and click mount. ATI will analyze the content of the TIB file and propose which disk to mount to which letter.

Thanks again for your reply. I appreciate your help and input.
It is a one time image backup of all the drives done at the same time. I believe I used all the default options, but am not 100% sure. I did this quite a while ago. In the main ATI window, I click mount image, then have to navigate to image location, and try to open. I then get an error message saying to the effect that this image can not be mounted, and is not in the correct format. Another thing I noticed is that all the other images from backups of other computers are shown in the bottom section of the screen, but the image I want to work with in not, shown. That's why i have to navigate to the file. (all images are keep in the same directory) The file extension is .tib

The TIB file might be a file backup, and not a disk and partition backup. That would explain the error message when you try to mount it. You can navigate through the TIB file using windows explorer. Just double click you way in and through.

You can update to the latest build of the program, 6696, to make sure that all the program components are up to date.
