Any format change again after Home 2009 without backwards compatibility?

Does any of TI Home version newer than 2009 introduce again a change of tib-format?
If yes, does such version is backwards compatible with previous formats?

Thank you for finding time to open the thread regarding this question, I will be glad to address it.

None of the Acronis True Image Home products, released after the 2009 version, contain any major changes in the backup creation and *.tib format. The latest version, available for purchase, is Acronis True Image Home 2011 (feel free to test it, and check its User Guide).

It's absolutely backwards-compatible with the previous versions. Please check this KB article for more details.
