Can you install License Server on each workstation in the network?

Hello,

We would like to install License Server on each workstation in the network. Only the license for that workstation would be imported into the software to ensure it always has a connection to itself. The workstations we use are laptops which are not always connected to the network and sometimes are gone for months due to service jobs. This way we eliminate any future license connection problems. Would this installation have any consequences using Management Console to connect remotely to these Workstations in any way?
