ASZ no longer valid nor accessible

Thread needs solution

I have ATI home 20ll (Build 6696). While attempting to do a Windows SP1 update my system didn't accept it. After finally getting back into my account I wanted to do a backup restore (I backed up to another seperate disk) to return my primary partition to its pre-SP1 attempt state. However, ATI home doesn't recognize any backups and completely thinks there is no ASZ. I used Acronis Disk Director to look at the drive (thinking I could restore it somehow) however it shows the ASZ as not formatted but healthy, with logical MBR and stating "'ASZ (Not supported)' " under the volume heading.

How do I access the ASZ files to do the backup restore???

Seems everytime I actually need the backups I have to end up reinstalling the OS.

Mark,

Did you update from a previous version of ATI? If yes, you could try to uninstall 2011, reinstall your previous version to see if you ASZ if recognized. If yes, you can maybe move (using ATI) your backups out the ASZ.
