Creating Unattended DVD

Thread needs solution

I want to create an unattended DVD for specific computers. I have installed all the neccesary software, and have made an image, and now I want to make a DVD where I can just insert the DVD into the machine, and it will "recover" the image all by itself. Is that possible? And if it is, how do I do that?

PS: I want to make something similar to a N-lite dvd, but I want to use my Acronis image. I know with Norton Ghost you add 3 files with the image to a DVD and burn it as a bootable. Is this possible here as well?

Hans,

Automated recovery is not possible with Acronis True Image Home. The best you can do is backup on a DVD and make the DVD bootable. You will have to use ATI interactively to restore though.

You would need to use the One-Click Restore option. It would let you boot to the DVD and select to have the restore run automatically. You should test that TI can boot properly to the TI CD and can see all the drives correctly and that it can successfully validate the backup image on the DVD before trying it.

The One-Click Restore option can only be used when a Full backup of the drive is created and burned to CD/DVD media.
