Cloning to partitions on eSATA and via gigabit ethernet to a NAS

Thread needs solution

Home Media Server with ASUS P5N32-SLI motherboard and running Windows XP SP3 Media Center Edition 2005.

HDDs

  • 2x 320GB SATA
  • 1x 500GB SATA
  • 1x 1TB SATA
  • 2x 1TB eSATA
  • 1x 2TB Gigabit ethernet RAID1 NAS

O/S and Program files location

  • One of the 320GB SATA HDDs is exclusively used for XP and Program files; nothing else despite the fact that 240GB remains unused.

Question:

If I buy Acronis True Image 10 (or 11, shortly, I see), will I be able to:

  1. Clone the "XP and Program Files" HDD to a partition on the NAS via ethernet?
  2. Clone the "XP and Program Files" HDD to a partition on either eSATA HDD?
  3. Restore from either of the above in the event of failure of the original HDD?

I am reasonably sure that the answer will be "yes" for question 2 and question 3 in the case of eSATA, but am unsure with respect to the NAS.

Many thanks
