outlook backup taking 3 hours

I am curious if anyone else experiences outlook backups that last over 3 hours. My pst file is approx 1GB and I am running Outlook 2010. This backup takes longer than backing up my primary partition. The estimated time is reported to be around 20 minutes.

Well Coltrane it looks like were both in the same boat here with no answer to our simple questions about backing up PST files because it's a joke to see that yours took 3 hours to backup. I'm using an alternative to backup PST files for OL because Acronis has failed terribly to backup a selection of PST files and OL profiles.
