ABR 11 Standalone, bootable media, RIS,PXE server and userguide.

Thread needs solution

User guide states (8.1.1) that during creation of linux-based bootable media one can
* upload the selected components to Acronis PXE Server
* upload the selected components to a WDS/RIS.
Also (8.1.3) for WinPE-based one there is an option
6 ... or upload the media on a server (Acronis PXE Server, WDS or RIS

These options (upload to whatever server) are not available in the actual product.

Hello dev-anon,

Thank you for your observation. You are absolutely right, there is some incorrect information in the user guide.

I will forward your feedback to our Documentation team.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Don't see why uploading to whatever server should be prohibited in ABR Standalone. As I recall, stand-alone Echo allowed this.

IIRC, ability to upload standalone linux-based media was gone in ABR10 already, now WinPE one is gone. And tapes.

Looks like in stand-alone ABR12 you will have to unplug the network cable...
