How to always overwrite de previous *.tib file

Thread needs solution

I 'm using ATIH 2011 and the only thing that MUST work, is creating a single drive image "on demand", which should always overwrites the previous file.
The image should have the file name I told it to use and nothing else.

This works fine for several images, until at some unpredictable moment, the next image does not overwrite the existing file WIN764_IPV6.tib but creates another file named like WIN764_IPV6.tib_3AA0A256-70DB-4D10-B3F7-29C53069F8BA.tib

This is not the name specified, thus an error. The only way to correct this is deleting the old file and renaming the new to its correct name. In addition, I have to delete the task and create it new, as the original task will no longer work.

Any idea how to get rid of this annoying error?

Ruud,

Do you have a retention policy or consolidation set up? Any TIH file that has CLSID type numbers in it (apart from those in the Secure Zone) are temporary working files.

Ruud,

I suppose you are using the single version scheme.
Try to create a new task, choose a custom scheme, full, auto-cleaning on, store no more than 1 most recent version. See if that solves the problem.
