Recovery console just hangs there, no progress. Please help
Hi, we're using Acronis True Image enterprise 10 I believe and I'm trying to image a new computer by using a backup .tib file I created from an identical PC. When I try to recover the image on the new pc, it ask me what and where I'd like to recover. The "OK" button is grayed out until all recovery parameters are selected. When I finally hit "OK," the "Monitor the task progress" console just sits there at 0% doing nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
*OT*, but what can I do to create an Image of an up-to-date machine, then use it to image multiple PC's at once across the network?

for some reason I'm thinking it has to do with Acronis not recognizing the SATA drivers in these Dell Optiplex 790 machines.
-still working at it

Hi Ryan
I'm not sure if new drivers for the dell Optiplex 790 have been added to the latest ABR11 or ABR10 build but it's worth ensuring you are running the latest builds (or download a copy of the latest Boot CD from your Acronis My Acount)
Also ABR11 just had an update so it might be worth giving that boot CD a try to see if it has the required drivers includes else you can look at creating a WinPE boot CD with the required drivers included.
Hear is a copy of the release notes for the latest ABR11 build:

P.S. If you don't know your product key you can login to your Acronis My Account and download a copy of all your keys OR goto Help/About in the product and it will list the key for you there as well... Good luck with it!

Hi Ryan
When you say you got a BSOD is that after installing ABR11 Update 0 (Build 17311) onto your server? Was your server having issues before this and is why you were trying to perform a restore?
Also what you can do is log into your Acronis account and download the boot CD ISO (no need to install the software), this should allow you to recover your system to a working state...
Also if you have any other systems I would recommend looking into the WinPE boot CD if the linux based CD is not detected all the required hardware.
* If this matter is urgent I would suggest you get in contact with Acronis support.
