Most likely it is caused by the user under which the Acronis Managed Machine Service is launched not being a member of the Administrative group.

Hello Anton,

the user is the Standard AcronisUser ".\AcronisAgentUser". I have uninstalled the whole version of Acronis with Cleaner Tool und delete the left over registry inserts manually. Then i restart the server and wanted to install the Acronis Backup Recovery again. The installation process was ok but if i wanted to start the Acronis Backup and Recovery Console i got the same failure like before.
The only thing that i noticed was that i get an message mask while the installation process ran that i had to open the tcp port 9867. Is this the reason to this failure?

Antoher Question: How can i reinstall Acronis without any restart of the server? I can't restart the server always because it's a "live system".

Cannot connect to Localhost!
What kind of BS is this? I just want to dupe a hard drive from a backup and the damn program will not even boot up without crashing. I tried all of the solutions to no avail so then I tried to upgrade from BackupRecovery.12497_s_en to BackupRecovery.13762_s_en and I get failed update Code: 013795829. WTF!

So now I got a bunch of backups that I cannot used. Thanks Acronis for making me waste hours toward the end of nothing.
