TIH 2011 Update 3 Backup failed to complete

Thread needs solution

Last week I updated to Update 3 Build No. 6942 and since then I have had problems with errors just before the backup is completed.

I've been using Acronis TIH (2009 and then this year upgraded to 2011) largely with no problems. But since the latest Update 3, the following errors have just occurred:
Failed to Open Data Stream: Event code: 0x0064008A+0x000B03E9+0x00040007+0x0000FFF0+0x80070003
and another one: Error While Parsing Script File: Event code: 0x0064008A+0x00900004

I tried the Smart Error Reporting on the Acronis website, but all it saidwas: "We are sorry.
There is no information about this error available now."

Well I'm lost! There are thousands of pages/threads on the forums and Support pages and I've already wasted hours.

What do I do now?

I originally invested in Acronis because of the bait: One click backup! But I have found the reality to be quite different. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Update to my earlier post: I tried it again and it worked successfully, thank heavens. I didn't change anything - I just ran it again and waited nervously as it neared the end, over 3 hours later, and it completed successfully this time. I then validated it and tested it.

It's hard to know what to do in these circumstances. If it had failed again I was going to ask if it's possible to roll back the version and use the previous one which did work.
