After cloning, no boot
I successfully cloned a seagate 120GB to a 1TB seagate ( according to the program) upon reboot, I get thru the flash screen and at the point of going through the split second ( normally ) screen with bios info, it hangs up with the message " Verifying DMI Pool Data" with a blinking cursor. I have a newer motherboard that accepts 3.GB/Sec transfer and have unplugged the original sata drive a plugged the new one in it's place (SATA 0). I have verified that the boot sequence points to the new drive also. I am using XP Pro with no previous issues prior to the clone. I have reinstalled the old 120GB and it booted fine. Could someone help me out...thanks

Thanks for the idea, but I am really new to this product......when you say " in the position" do you mean boot sequence or sata port location? Also, when you refer to the Rescue CD...is this something I need to create......I really bought this to clone my hard drive and then setup backup routines later......I am not sure of all the terminology yet sorry.

The Rescue CD is what you will need to restore an Image that you've previously made if your system drive goes belly up without warning.
