ATIH2012 build 6131 - Outlook backup fails.
Just purchased this, running on Win7 Pro Sp1.
Performed a partition backup ok.
Tried to run "other backup" "Mail"
for Outlook 2007.
This is the result. I cannot find any reference to it in Acronis KB.

I have downloaded the acronisscheduler461.exe file and implemented it, but this did not solve it.2
Later found the 465 version of this file, which I have applied.
Now running acronisinfo.exe ... will log a support case if I cant resolve it.
First day with the product, im already concerned...

I have build 6154 and the back-up of my email appears to work fine (TIH2012 says backup is valid, but I've not actually tried a restore). The problem I have is that I can't use it on schedule because outlook has to be restarted after TIH does the backup. Apparently, TIH closes the files when it is done, so Outlook has to be restarted and then the files have to be scanned because they were "not closed properly" (outlook message). Maybe TIH should keep track of whether the files were open to begin with and leave them the way they were found?
I'm using XP and Outlook 2003 BTW. I'll never upgrade the OS again. Why people keep upgrading is beyond me. MS goes out of their way to break everything every year or two and add more and more bloat and cause more and more user-hours to be wasted trying to fix the new problems they introduce.
If they would offer a bug-free and optimized 100% successor to XP with "minimal" install option, I would be happy to buy it.

Gary,
You could try making a pre and post batch file where TI suspends transactions before running and then re-instates them after making the image.

Lester (this may or may not be of value to you). I'm running Win7 x64 & Outlook 2010 and at one time my Outlook BUs were failing. I created new profiles from scratch and deleted the old profiles. Once I did that I had no problems. Also since the Outlook files are small (for me 5GB, and I currently have a total of 12TB of HD space) I perform a FULL BU nightly and keep 15 versions.
Gary, for me on my Win7 x64 system with Outlook 2010 my outlook is backed up without closing Outlook thus it may be an XP/Office 2003 thing.
I well understand your desire to stay with XP but Win7 (for me) is so much better and I was very impressed with XP when I started using it.
