Hello!

I just wanted to know if it is possible to speed up Backup and/ or Recovery with HP ProBooks.
In my Company we sell many computers and notebooks, we are also using Acronis for PCs and Servers. Since version 2010 we nearly got every version of any products.

As long as all other systems are running great with Acronis, we got problems with HP ProBook Series. For example: Ive started a Backup of a HP ProBook 4730S yesterday about 1600, it finished today at ~ 0800. Compared to all other computers, which take normally about 20-120 minutes, its kind of obvious that something is wrong. We noticed that a few many times and didnt found any solution yet. Tested with Acronis Home Edition 2011 and 2012, also with Plus Pack 2011 and 2012 - same thing every time.

Is there a way to speed it up manually? Would be nice to have the job done like on other devices and not have to wait hours for it.

I've checked our internal database. We had a report about Acronis True Image Home 2012 being a bit slow on HP ProBook, but nothing like you've reported. Do you mind sending us Acronis Info from one of the problem machines?

Currently we just have 1 device in our store, the ProBook 4730S. Our customers aren't ordering them often, so I can't provide any informations in foreseeable future. When we'll have one again here, Im going to run the Info Tool again and also send those informations to you.

Can you give me a eMail Adress to send the informations to? Or shall I upload it onto our servers and post the link here? Do you also need a report from "Acronis Report"?
