Restoring to removable CF disk
This is the first time I am using this product. I have successfully created an image (.TIB) file of a compact flash removable drive. This disk was used to boot an industrial panel and contained Windows XPE and all associated software we need. Now I need to take that image and restore it to a new blank disk so I have an exact copy of the first. However, I cannot seem to get the removable drive (G:) to be a destination for the restore. I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone tell me what steps to take?

Thank you for your response. I have made a little bit of progress. I was told to run the snapAPIsetup and virtualDiskSetup programs. Now I can at least "see" the removable drive as a destination. However, I still cannot seem to get it to work as I would expect. In software I have used before I would capture an image of a removable disk (say an entire 4G file) and save that to my laptop. Then I would make an exact copy of the original disk to a blank disk using the image file on my laptop as the source and the new blank removable disk as the destination. With Acronis I can create a .tib file from the original disk but getting an exact copy placed onto a blank disk is my problem still. I am just not understanding something. Though I can select the removable disk now as a destination it is telling me I need to reboot my laptop to complete the operation. This is a red flag to me. Why would that be necessary. I did what it asked (rebooted my laptop) and tried again only to get the same prompt. Maybe I am going about this all wrong. Any ideas?

It shouldn't need to reboot to do the restore. I would try booting to the TI CD and trying the restore from there.
If you also have TI 2011 (or another earlier version that includes the SafeMedia version) you can try the SafeMedia version. In the past, I had better success with it because it uses the BIOS (which sees the flash drives as normal drives).
