Online Backup in ATIH 2012 won't suspend
I've seen a couple of related posts to this but no definitive answers. Have just started a trial with online backup but when I suspend the backup, the UI doesn't return to the "Back up Now" status. Just seems to sit with the suspend button and calculating the backup time. When I go to shutdown windows, computer won't shutdown. Says "Operations are in progress". Have to kill the power to get it to shutdown. Only happens after I get the online backup going so pretty sure it is an Acronis operation doing the damage.
Have tried cancelling the operation in the system tray and killing the true image processes in the task manager but no good. I'd like to use the online backup service but definitely not if it's going to cause this trouble.
Anyone any ideas?

Hey, Acronis support guys, I have been unable to use online backup now for a few days. It starts fine, and all the machine-based tasks seem to execute with no exceptions logged. But it never starts uploading files. My internet connection is definitely not the issue. I'm not sure what to make of it, though. I know when the servers are down for maintenance, I simply can't log in. But I can login fine and begin the online backup. Then...nothing... I refuse to believe the servers have been down for three+ days straight, so what could be going on? Do I just need to reboot? I will try that, of course, but I'd definitely like to know the issue's cause and how to fix it in the future. Thanks a bunch.
