Delete backups
I am using the latest version of TI 2012 & W7 Home. Scheduled full backups are working fine and overwriting the previous file in the folder. These .tif files have todays full date appended to the file name. However, the file immediately subordinate to the .tif file, which contains the tree to examine the contents of the image and did not exist in TI 2011 [sorry - I do not what this tree is called], always has 2012-04-9 as the date which is appended. It should have a date identical to that on the .tif file. This also happens to be the date the job was created. When I edit the job I find no place to add the date. I am sure this has a simple answer but it is avoiding me. Attached is .jpg of the file structure in WE.

The TrueImage data base has become confused--perhaps it was edited.
Anyway, you will need to stop your existing task and create a new task. Point the new task to a new empty folder not containing other backup files.
Not sure exactly what type backup scheme you are using but the link below shows examples of Full, Inc or Dif and the examples are listed in the figures 11-xx on the attachment. Change the 6 and 4 data to meet your own needs.

As "shadowsports" has indicated, you can add the date to the backup file name by adding
@date@_
to the file name such as
Yourbackupname_@date@_.tib
When the explorer folder is in view detail mode, the date and time of backup is always there anyways.
