pb with dell optiplex 790
Hi
Yesterday i bought snap deploy to copy 1 master image to 5 Dell optiplex 790 :
Here are big issues with Snap Deploy :
- network card is not recognized so i can't deploy by the network
- Deployment with master on usb disk freeze during copy after 30 minutes and it's very very slow.
I'm using a bootable disk with Acronis Standalone utility.
version is 3.0.3470.
Any thoughts ? Please help, i need to deploy before the end of the week.
Best Regards
Olivier

We still have the same problem on Dell Latitude E6320 and Dell Optiplex 790
We are running the latest version of Acronis Snap Deploy 3 Build: 3501
Do you have any solution for pxe boot we need to be able to remote install computers so we need PXE to work.
Thank you,
Roy André

We have the same problem on Dell Optiplex 790
We are also running the latest version of Acronis Snap Deploy 3 Build: 3501
The deployment with master Image on usb disk works without a problem.
But we need remote install with PXE.
Thank you,

We have fixed the problem. You have to change the settigs from multicast to unicast.
After the change the deploy works without a problem.

I just wanted to throw out there that I have a workaround for Dell 790's. I created a new thread here: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/25432

i'm having trouble with my opti 790s as well. i couldn't deploy an image that i created on an opti 755, so i just installed windows on the 790 manually and created an image from it using ASD4 beta build 203. the hdd SATA mode has to be set to ATA for the xp install to work. restoring the image to another 790 seemed to work, but then the OS fails to boot. i get the error "a disk read error occurred"
with the latest official build Acronis Snap Deploy 3 Build: 3501 i get the following results:
SATA set to ATA in bios: ASD3 can't find any hard drives.
SATA set to AHCI in bios: ASD3 can find the hard drive! it can also find the NIC just fine, however xp installation blue screens in AHCI mode (regarding doing the install and then creating an image for deployment on other machines)

HI, We are using Snap-Deploy Management Console build 3501 and we can not deploy an image to (or grab an image from) our Dell Optiplex 790 desktops. The NIC is an intel 82579LM Gigabit
PXE boot works fine, then the PC hangs at "Processing, please wait"
Do you have a solution or a workaround for this?
Earlier models of the Optiplex (780) still work well.
Thanks
