Acronis Manage Machine Service is Unavailable (Acronis Backup for Windows Server 11.7)

Thread needs solution

Good afternoon-

My company just purchased the Acronis Backup for Windows Server 11.7, I downloaded the product, registered, and during installation, it installs everything except the Management Console portion and at the end of the software installation it reads:

Warning

Code: 05

Line Tag: 0xc1180c75befcee39

Message: Access is denied

After receiving this message, I extracted the Management Console and tried to install via Windows Command Line and after the installation completed (No messages) just an icon in the corner of the Sys tray stating that the Acronis Manage Machine Service is unavailable.

Please help with this matter, I really need to use this product to backup my current problematic Windows 2003 Terminal Server and restore it to a New Server (Different Hardware- Bare Metal) using the Universal Restore.

Thank you for the support

Hello Robert,

Welcome to Acronis Forums! First of all I would suggest taking an image of your Terminal Server under bootable media. Thus you can exclude any OS and third-party application related issues and secure your data for migration. Here you will find detailed information on how to restore the backup to the new machine.

Issue with installation: please remove all Acronis components via installation file (Run it and select Uninstall). Next please clear %temp% folder, reboot machine and re-attempt the installation. Make sure you are starting the installation file using account with administrative privileges. I would also recommend to keep antivirus software off during the installation process. If the issue still persists, please raise a support ticket for more indepth investigation.

Thank you,
