Acronis is sending warning mails

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I'm getting warning mails every day that no backup is created for the last 5 days. But my backup plan is configured doing backups once a month.

The mail alert might be a hangover from the test period where I did daily backups. But meanwhile I created a new job for a monthly backup.

The only thing I can do now is to accept the alert in the Acronis user interface and the email warning stopps for a few days but begins to start later again.

So what can I do to finally stop this?

You can disable alert in the machine options or management server options.

ahh thanks. Now I remember to have switched on the email notification in the machine options originally to get mail if backup is failed. But it did not work this way and I had to use the notification option within the backup job. As I never turned off the notification in the machine options it was still active there.

Now it's deactivated and I hope it works.
