Hello,

My backup package is password protected, and I know that it cannot be opened, if you dont know the password. I am sending the incremental backup process thru FTP-transfer (not FTPS).

Does anyone knows, is Acronis Backup 11.7 program sending the password thru FTP-transfer (without encyption), when it checks the older backup packages on FTP-server (because its incremental backup, it has to check what has been changed)?

Hello,

No, as archive encryption password is not the same thing as FTP credentials (username+password), encryption password is not sent over FTP.
