Backup plan Execution state stuck as "Needs interaction"

Afternoon peeps,

Got an issue with a particular weekly backup plan, which as been stuck on 29% progress for a couple of days, we are unable to stop it as it just doesn't respond what so ever. Its now just displaying in yellow stating "Needs interaction" however when you right click on the task/backup plan and select "stop" it does absolutely nothing.

What we have tried to do so far is:

Stopped the task. (Backup Plan) Numerous times - no response, doesn't change.

Deleted and re-added the vault the job is attached to. No joy.

Rebooted AMS Server.

Iv found the following KB article https://kb.acronis.com/content/24511 but im not sure sure if this fix is applicable in this instance, could someone please advise? As we have other jobs currently running that we would like to avoid interrupting if possible?
