Backup Succeeded but error Failed to open the backup Archive by the ID

Thread needs solution

Hoping someone could me with this issue. I tried to validate a backup and am getting the error "Failed to open the backup Archive by the ID". I seen in the previous post this could be due to the xml file in the backup directory could be missing or corrupted. They recommended doing a refresh. I did the refresh and seen with the time stamp a new xml file was generated. However the error still persists. Below are a copy of my log files.

Hi tom pat,

Thank you for your posting! It seems that something continues corrupting the meta-files. I would suggest to try the different location for backups, f.e. to backup to local drive and check if the issue persists. Add Acronis to exclusions in Antivirus software or disable it temporary. Re-create the backup task and test it. If the problem persists, contact our Support Team with the reference to the following article in order to investigate the issue deaper.

Thank you,
